DVDs, magazines, references, and more
The library at the LGBTQA+ Center has more than 1,500 books and DVDs, reference materials, brochures, and handouts related to gender and sexuality and the intersections of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression with other intersections of identity including race/ethnicity, class, religion, and other aspects of identity and experience.
LGBTQA+ history, HIV/AIDS, psychology, and politics are covered in the nonfiction section. The fiction section includes a vast selection of novels, comics, plays and poetry.
LGBTQA+ Center resources are listed in UNL’s library catalog (online at http://libraries.unl.edu) and are checked out using your NCard. Books can be checked out for two weeks and DVDs for one week. If you aren’t finished with the resources by then, you can renew them!
Suggestions and Donations
We are always eager to hear suggestions on materials that would make our library better. Donations are also welcome. If you have recommendations or would like to donate DVDs, books, magazine, etc., please email lgbtqa.library@unl.edu.
